Tucked away in the side streets of Charlottesville's Downtown Mall, The Alley Light offers classic French shared plates, craft cocktails and small grower wines in a casually elegant atmosphere.

The Alley Light will be closed for on December 18th of 2024 for a private event.
We will also be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day and January 2nd.
Our annual New Year's Eve celebration will feature two seatings:
5:30pm: 4-course dinner $125 p/person with optional wine pairing ($40)
9pm: 7-course wine paired dinner ($250 p/person)
Please call or email for NYE reservations.
We will begin taking UVA Graduation Weekend reservations on Thursday, February 20th, 2025.
Reservations are for dinner only.
The bar operates on a 1st come 1st serve basis for cocktails. After dinner service (10pm) cocktail tables become available.

Due to limited space, we have 2 seatings; one early (5, 5:15, 5:30, 6, and 6:30) and late (8pm on). We cannot take 7/7:30 reservations. We are also available for private parties and cocktail hours.
