Steltman stoel - Wolvilt / Rood - hero - 0552 / Rechts
Voor de winkel van juwelier Steltman ontwierp Gerrit Rietveld op 75-jarige leeftijd zijn laatste stoel. Met dit ontwerp bewees hij opnieuw zijn status als baanbrekend ontwerper. De stoel dankt zijn naam aan de Haagse juwelier en hofleverancier Steltman die Rietveld in 1963 opdracht gaf voor de verbouwing en inrichting van zijn winkel aan het Noordeinde in Den Haag.
