Although the Dreamworks logo isn't very descriptive of what they do as a company, the illustration is so great that I can't fault it for anything. The blue color is comforting and fits in with the theme of the kid sitting on the Moon. It's a play on what people might dream of or how dreams work, which sort of relates back to movies but the relation to movies isn't important. The connection to Dreamworks is so effective because of the simply, monochrome design.
