Valentine's Day always brings to mind families, and how they may have treasured the ones they loved. This is a photo of Jim's grandfather who was a mail carrier in the late 1800's, and the early 1900's. Below is another more formal portrait. He came to mind, because of a very special autograph book he carried. It is in pretty poor condition so I scanned some of the pages a couple of years ago.
