Jesse Sanderson of Wdstck, in collaboration with Wim Verzantvoort, has created Burning Ego pendant lamp using burnt oak bough. The charred wood lamp illustrates Japanese traditional wood preserving technique in which upper crust of branch is burnt to bring out the inner muscular wood for durability.
