Difficulty: Medium Details: • 1. Sanded with 120 grit and finished with 220 grit. Used a carbide scraper, multi tool, and a rotary tool to help with the corners and tight spaces. • 2. Applied a paint wash. Mine was 25% flat white paint, 25% flat tan paint, 50% water. (My secret is that I don’t wipe paint washes off 🤫) You will need to lightly sand again after the paint wash with 220 grit. For the tan paint, I used ColorPlace Natural Linen, but I think it’s now made by Glidden! • 3. Seal with Minwax Polycrylic in Clear Ultra Flat. I did 2 coats on the body and 4 on the tops. Sand lightly with 220 grit or higher and remove dust between each coat. • 4. Not videoed but I sprayed the knobs with Rustoleum flat black!
Comment THREE to grab yours to create that perfect Pottery Barn look on a budget! It takes some practice to get the perfect lines, but it’s worth it 🤩 one crucial thing- the paint has to be dry before applying the glaze, and the glaze must be dry before applying the top coat! That’s the biggest mistake you can make when you rush things and take paint or glaze off when working the next step too fast. Taking from my own experience 😎 #potterybarndupe #furnituremakeovers #furnituremakeover #fu...
