Mod製作者であるDayin Creations氏は7月11日、Valve Software（以下、Valve）が開発した『Portal 2』の大型Modである「Destroyed Aperture」の開発状況を、ModコミュニティサイトModDBにて報告した。ModDBによると、今夏～今秋にトレイラーを、2018年内に本Modをリリース予定とのことだ。 「Destroyed Aperture」の舞台は、植物の侵食によって腐敗が進んだ化学施設Aperture Science社。セントラルコアの影響により、外界との通信が遮断され、長い年数が経った。Facility 7と呼ばれる施設で目覚めたDavidは、荒廃が進んだ施設からの脱出を図り奮闘することになる。全5章構成のストーリー、20以上のマップ、30以上のパズルを収録。またThe Portable Button（詳細は現在のところ不明）と呼
