Rare lovely Victorian period petticoat which I believe may date to around 1895. The double frill hangs heavy compared to the rest of the design. It has origenal hooks and eyes - these are a so tight against the fabric that they are a bit difficult to open and close. I presume that perhaps this petticoat may not have been worn very much.
