The Bookshop

One of the last workshops I did before closing Jeepers brick and mortar location was a miniature book store. In this class we created a sandwich sign, magazine rack, check-out counter, a large bookcase, wood display, and of hundreds of books to fill the shelves in a Houseworks Street of Shops kit. Yes I counted them, but was a little disappointed that after 50 hours of work that there was only 750 loose books, I swear it felt like I made thousands. That being said I'm very happy with the finished product. Tello is the name of the future shop keeper who will be taking over, Clive was just standing in for these photos.
