For a rather narrow hallway we designed a floating staircase with solid Oak treads and a side-fixed low iron glass balustrade, to keep it very open and light. A special detail to this staircase is the solid Oak caps we used to cover the steel bolts that hold the glass. It creates the impression that the glass is cutting through the steps. Just what you need to create a wow-factor, right?
