Self portrait with a twist

This is an example of an unguided self portrait drawing done by a kindergarten student at the beginning of the school year. Students were asked to draw a picture of themselves using a pencil and crayons. These self portraits are saved until the end of the school year when they can be compared side by side to their end of year self portraits as a way to show how much they have grown as artists. This style is typical of kindergarten drawings of people, with basic shapes and facial features.
