Our Mission
Hosted by the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) at the University of Michigan, CIGLR consists of a Research Institute and a Regional Consortium that is a partnership between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), universities, non-governmental organizations, and businesses. Together, we work to achieve environmental, economic, and social sustainability in the Great Lakes.

Oregon State University is Hiring 2 Postdocs!
Our colleague Maria Kavanaugh and the Seascape Ecology Lab at Oregon State University will be hiring at least two postdoctoral scholars, a phytoplankton ecologist and seascape ecologist, to work on projects related to biodiversity and ecosystem functioning in US coastal waters, contributing to the Great Lakes Marine Biodiversity Observation Network (MBON).
