Studies of Aztec clothing I did for the website mexicolore. Based on various codices, documents and art.

Traditional Aztec clothing for women; a huipil and enagua, or blouse and skirt.

Ixchel is depicted in traditional Mesoamerican attire, with flowing robes adorned with symbols and glyphs. A decorative, feathered headpiece rests on her head. There are subtle elements in her attire hinting at her covert affiliation with the order. Her eyes are sharp and glowing green with the knowledge, giving her a glimpse of how Nawi perceives the world and reality around them understanding things at a deeper level for a time and understanding the responsibility of having such knowledge.
