Something I've always found interesting is fantasy, which I love almost as much as sci-fi but they are both great in their own ways. Similar to technology, we continue to learn things that we never knew before, then pass that knowledge down through generations so each generation is smater than the last and we prevent mistakes that we have already made. (Made the image myself using imageflip)

My family has guided and cared for me my whole life, I will always remember the family reunions and parties for the holidays. While I know they will love me for merely existing, I hope that I may repay them some day in a way that I find fit. (Image taken by my aunt.)

While it may seem boring sitting at a desk all day looking at financial documents and excel sheets, I think accounting and finances in general is a very valuable skill that will provide a stable job (even outside the military) and provide knowledge that can be applied to investing and my retirement.
