Wow! This exquisite antique belt made of rhinestones, green stones and glass pearls comes from a German collection of theatrical jewelry. Very artistically crafted. And older than you might think. It probably dates from the period between 1890-1910. Actresses wore it on stage in exotic roles (like Salome). In very good to excellent condition. Original condition. Nothing altered. Very, very rare to find. Even rarer are these pieces offered for sale. Most are in private collections.
