Size: 5.0 x 4.9 x 4.0 cm.
Splendent, jet-black magnetite cubes to 7 mm richly cover this shapely and showy matrix plate from the ZCA #4 Mine at Balmat, New York. These specimens came out briefly and are no longer available. I maintain they are among the most interesting of American classics, unrivalled for cubic habit of magnetite from anywhere.
