Dr. Neera Nathan on Instagram: "How to treat keratosis pilaris (“strawberry legs” or “chicken skin”) like a dermatologist.  Keratosis pilaris (KP) usually presents as rough, bumpy skin on the arms and/or legs and is pretty common. If you are bothered by your KP, here’s a three step routine I swear by as a dermatologist to help get rid of those bumps:  1. Use a gentle exfoliant in the shower 3-4x per week. Avoid loofahs which are a breeding ground for bacteria and just make skin more irritated. Apply glycolic acid on a cotton pad 3-4x per week.
