Before we jump in, save this post and don’t forget to follow along so you don’t miss future posts!  The most common causes are: -over hydration  -over fermentation  -poor shaping -dull bread lame   This means the solution could be as simple as just changing your blade, but could also be more complicated. It could be that you need to work on your shaping technique to make sure you’re building enough tension on the dough. It could be that you’re adding too much water for your particular flour- since they all absorb differently.
