Azhar Swanson is the Director of Student Services for the College of Design at the University of Kentucky. Her academic background includes a master’s in History & Languages at Kazakh State University, a Ph.D. in History, and a Fulbright Scholar program at the University of Kentucky and Indiana University- Bloomington. Her previous 14 –year work experience at the University of Kentucky was with the College of Arts & Sciences and the Graduate School. She enjoys reading books and gardening.
