The structure of business entities in Anhui has further optimized, and quality has improved. Recently, reporters learned from the provincial Market Regulation Administration that in 2024, the province registered a total of 1.2131 million new business entities, bringing the total to 8.3155 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.73%. Among these, there are 2.4806 million enterprises, up by 3.63% year-on-year. Enterprises hold 157,900 valid invention patents, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%.

To promote the high-quality development of business entities, our province has introduced several measures to create a first-class business environment. It has initiated pilot reforms for establishing demonstration counties (cities, districts) focused on the high-quality development of business entities. Last year, a cross-department "pre-approval guidance" work mechanism was established, benefiting 12,000 business entities. The province deepened the "individual-to-enterprise" reform pilot, providing convenience for 5,259 self-employed to transition into enterprises. Targeted support was provided for individual businesses through classification and assistance, identifying 2,487 "special and high-quality" individual businesses. The "Individual Business Service Month" initiative was actively carried out, addressing 12,800 issues raised by individual businesses.

Across the province, various regions have rolled out diversified services and distinctive measures to support the development of small and micro enterprises. Currently, the quality of business entity development in Anhui ranks ninth in the country, with the enterprise credit index consistently among the top five nationwide.
