The cathedral in the centre of Toledo. The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo is an immense Gothic church at the heart of the ancient Spanish capital of Toledo. Built between 1226 and 1493, and modified and added to since, it was built over the site of the city’s great mosque and is home to a unique Transparente – a hole in the roof which angels swirl around. There are numerous stained-glass windows within, as well as museums which hold works by El Greco, Goya and Valazquez.

Toledo: In central Spain. A famous medieval city near Madrid, on the Tajo River. It is important in metalwork, especially fine steel and exquisite jewelry. It was the home of the painter El Greco, and contains many of his works.

Me gusta fotografiar catedrales. En 2007 comencé hacerlo y no me he detenido. Para mi es una fuente de inspiración y de práctica de la técnica, a tal punto que puedo hacer capturas con baja iluminación en cualquier otro lugar. Esta experiencia adquirida es fundamental en mis trabajos actuales y determinante en mi última visita a los templos de Angkor en Cambodia.
