This listing is for a crochet pattern. The pattern gives instructions to make a cowboy hat or sun hat in adult and youth(child) sizes. It can also be used to make tricorn pirate hats, top hats, and more. You will need about 300 yds of a bulky/ worsted 5 yarn and a 4mm G crochet hook. This pattern is a pdf download. You can choose smooth lines and curves or sharper lines. I wanted something versatile to make a more rounded cowboy hat, yet also make a sun hat reminiscent of something Indiana Jones would wear.
