There's one thing that holds true for all dives: If you visit one, you'll always have a story to tell later. Here are 10 of our favorite dive bars across the U.S.

Wollongong is a city that is known for its beautiful beaches, stunning landscapes, and vibrant nightlife. The city has a great selection of bars, pubs, and clubs that cater to all tastes and preferences. However, for those who are looking for a more authentic and unique experience, dive bars are the way to go. These bars are typically small, unassuming, and offer a more laid-back atmosphere that is perfect for unwinding after a long day.

17 bars, six games of pool, and an unknowable number of Miller Lites later, I finally tracked it down. But I could never have prepared myself for what I found along the way.

Although Orlando's nightlife scene has gone through some major changes this year – Neon Beach, Ace Cafe and maybe (?) Saddle Up have seen shutdowns – the City Beautiful is still going strong. If nothing else, there will always be a slate of hometown dive bars filled with cheap drinks and fellow Orlandoans to enjoy.
