Honey Lollipops for Rosh HaShanah
Honey Lollipops - Makes 1 doz 1 cup sugar 1 cup honey 2/3 cup light corn syrup Flax seeds optional 1. Prepare an ice water bath & set aside. 2. Combine sugar, corn syrup and 1/4 cup of water, boil in saucepan, stir until sugar dissolves. 3. After about 5 minutes or so (candy thermometer 300 - 310 deg). 4. Quickly set pan in the ice-bath water to stop the cooking & sit about 20 sec. 5. Pour syrup into candy molds, press in sticks. 6. Let harden and cool.
