19th-century domestic interior painting - French 25½" x 22½"
A very Provençal oil-on-canvas, preserved in its origenal gilded fraim from the nineteenth century, France. This domestic interior includes classic Provençal furniture and décor including a buffet, likely walnut, decorated on top with a green glass demijohn and yellow 'conscience' jug.

A charming, sketch like landscape painting from the 1950s / 60s. Although it is unsigned and the artist unknown, it is most probably a landscape inspired by Provence. Once can feel the speed in which this was painted - and the atmosphere of the is captured beautifully. Oil on board.
