The German Bar Decor of Von Trier contains murals depicting scenes of German culture and the city of Trier as well as the Cyril Colnik Chandelier. The main mural was painted by local Milwaukee artist Mike March. The Bier Stube is adorned with stained glass, antique beer steins, and German artwork.

Karl Ratzsch's, a longtime fixture of Milwaukee's dining culture, has closed less than a year after it was reopened, chef-owner Thomas Hauck said Sunday.
