Angela Meilleur on Instagram: "✨ Star Weaving Banner ⭐️ My 10-year-old daughter’s sweet voice is singing along with the song! .. And you’ll catch her weaving in this reel too. 🌲✨ like, share or comment below to spread some love! 🥹🥰 Weaving stars is such a magical way to learn and play! 🌟 For this star use 12 slits on a cardboard circle, skip every 5 slits as you weave. Think of it like a clock: start at 12 o’clock, then go to 5 o’clock, 11 to 4, 10 to 3, and so on. The pattern forms beautifully as you work backward from the top, skipping every 5. Last week at Forest School, we explored weaving and made tree designs and stars. 🌲 This star pattern resonated with me, I couldn’t wait to make more at home! My kids and I turned it into a full banner with shiny white twine. ✨ This activit

Jen Buchheit on Instagram: "Embroidered Cardboard Christmas Tree 🎄 I used our @makedo mini tool to punch holes in a cardboard Christmas tree, then threaded a yarn needle with yarn and let Rosie embroider the tree! While she was working on this project, she also threaded beads onto the yarn to add decorations to the tree 😊 At the bottom of the tree I made an x-shaped cardboard trunk so the trees can stand. This was a fun sewing project, and now the girls have a few new Christmas trees to play pretend with! Use promo code STUDIOROSIE10 to get 10% off your order with @makedo! #kidcrafts #easycrafts #holidaycrafts #christmascrafts #cardboardcrafts #diygifts #mymakedo"
