Aerial Photo Ordering System

Important: As of October 1, 2022, The National Geodetic Survey (NGS) will no longer maintain, access, or sell aerial photos maintained on analog film. As required by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memorandum December 31, 2022 deadline, NGS must comply by moving the photos to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and Federal Records Center (FRC).

Interested parties may obtain these aerial photos captured on film from NARA once the photo holdings are received and cataloged over the next year. These aerial photos will be included in the NARA and FRC group Records of the Coast and Geodetic Survey at https://catalog.archives.gov/id/352 and at https://www.archives.gov/research/guide-fed-records/groups/023.html#23.8
