Bug Description

FNMOC recently updated the sfc_u file format (effective after October 31, 2024):

Previous version: The sfc_u product included only ocean variables at a depth of 0.0 meters (depth == 1).
New version: The sfc_u product now includes values at a depth of 2.0 meters as well (depth == 2).

For our SST variable, we use layer 1 (depth == 1) in the water_temp variable.
