Description
After having setup Docker Desktop and installed all images and containers all of a sudden, after rebooting Windows and starting Docker Desktop, docker ignores distro docker-desktop, but installs and runs docker-desktop-Dev instead, At this point I'm unable to use docker in WSL anymore. Even if I uninstall Docker Desktop and delete all folders and files created by Docker, it does not create distro docker-desktop again but rather docker-desktop-Dev.
Only if I reset Windows and reinstall everything it works again. One observation I made is this: It seems that I don't get the problem if I quit Docker Desktop before shutting down the PC. However, I may get this issue if I just shutdown the PC before quitting Docker Desktop.
I encountered this issue the first time with Docker Desktop 4.31 and ever since.
I have this issue on both of my Windows machines (one with Windows 11 Pro and one with Windows 11 Home). Linux and MacOS machines are working fine.
