scrollUntilVisible should not attempt to scroll when the item to find is onscreen, but we often see one extra scroll. This is particularly problematic when the item to find is at the top of the screen, in which case we may scroll it offscreen, resulting in a failure in the scrollIntoView call returns from that function.
