Behaviour of panics in go functions #237

Description

Hi, I'm binding some go functions to a python module and a couple years ago my application would panic if the go function panicked. In recent versions I think there may have been a recover added somewhere in gpython as the application does not panic but instead freezes and the process needs to be killed. Is this a bug?
