A collection of BitBar plugins to control the playback from cmus, iTunes, Spotify or pianobar in the OSX Menubar.

1. Download and install BitBar v1.10.1. Later versions of BitBar (e.g. xbar beta) are not supported.
2. Download the music-controls-*.sh scripts from this repository into your BitBar plugin directory.
3. Restart BitBar.

The eventcmd in pianobar needs to be configured appropriately:

1. Add eventcommand.sh from this repository to your pianobar config directory ~/.config/pianobar/.

2. In ~/.config/pianobar/config, register the event script from above as an event command: event_command = ~/.config/pianobar/eventcommand.sh

3. Restart pianobar and BitBar.

Set EXPERIMENTAL_MODE=1 to try out features that are currently under development.
