Bug summary
When you configured Content Picker Property Editor UI (Umb.PropertyEditorUi.ContentPicker, also known as Umbraco.MultiNodeTreePicker), you can't process "Save and Publsih" action properly on the first attempt.

Here are the steps of reproduction.

It seems that the main problem is related to "Minimum number of items". Once I set it to 1, the error have been reproduced.

Expected: you can save and publsih valid doc from first attempt
Actual: you can't save and publish valid doc from first attempt
