3 ways evergreen trees can elevate your landscape
Evergreen trees add year-round beauty and color to your yard. 🌲 Here are some of our favorite ways to incorporate evergreen trees into your landscape: 1️⃣ Privacy & Screening: Block unwanted views with lush, year-round greenery like Thuja Green Giants or Emerald Green Arborvitae. 🏡💚 2️⃣ Windbreaks & Noise barriers: Plant evergreens in rows to shield your home and garden from harsh winds and street noise. 💨✨ 3️⃣ Focal Points: Make a statement! Every winter garden needs evergreens! 🌲 Otherwise, the view can be a bit sad Evergreens smell delicious, and many of them are edible or medicinal, too Pines are my favorite: the needles are super tasty and contain vitamin C. You can eat them raw or make herbal tea from them. Yew is also great; the pits are deadly, but the red flesh is delicious. Animals also love evergreens. Do you have a favorite?
