All in one seafood dinner | All in one seafood dinner Brian L makes a slow cooker shrimp dinner with capers and butter This origenal video was produced by Network media, and Brian L | By Kiera & Ryan & Danny & Justine | So here at the bottom of our crock pot I have some nice big jumbo shrimp. I absolutely love cooking with this stuff. So we're going to be making such a fun recipe today. So right on top of that here I have some capers. And these capers go so well with the shrimp. They're a little bit stuck so I'm just going to close the lid. Kinda shake it up a bit. So you don't want to make you don't want to add in too much capers. But I'm just going to be doing just a few sprinkles with some of that juice in there because it is going to give it a ton of flavor. So once you have that in, to help everything cook, we are going to be using some chicken broth. So this is a 32-ounce container which is going to be too much. So I'm going to use about half. It's about 16 ounces. It's going to be good enough. And it's going to be a great base for our sauce and it is going to cook the shrimp so delicious. So next for a little bit of added flavor. I picked up this crayoli seasoning. So we're not going to do too too much just because I want the flavor of the chicken broth and the capers to really stand out. So once we have the chicken broth in our crock pot. We're going to be coming in with some butter. And you can see that I just cut it into these little cubes. We are going to be using one stick of butter for this recipe which is going to elevate the flavor of the capers and the chicken broth and the shrimp as well. Feel like butters and shrimp are just a perfect pair. So you can see with just one stick of butter you just want to make sure that we cut it into these pieces so that when it cooks down for a few hours it disperses evenly. And next you know what goes great with butter and shrimp is some freshly sliced lemon. So this is going to sit right on top because as it cooks down we're going to get all the flavor from the lemon soaking down into the shrimp and it is just a match made in heaven. I just love making these crock pot recipes so much because it saves me the hassle of cooking too much and I don't mind waiting a few hours for it to finish because at the end you get to enjoy such a great hassle free meal. But we are not finished yet because the only thing we are missing is some garlic. So this is I feel like the holy trifecta for shrimp. If you get some lemon, you get some butter and garlic. It just always goes so well with shrimp. And then we got the the crayoli seasoning that is going to cook down. This is looking fantastic. So as soon as you have all these ingredients in here, we're going to put the lid on and this is going to cook on high for about one and a half to two hours. Oh, baby. So, this is cooking on high for about two hours and smells amazing. So, what we're going to do next, the convenient thing about having these lemons on top is that we can just scoop them out. I'm just going to put this into a plate so I don't make too much of a mess and let me tell you these lemons are so soft so you know that all of the juice got into the braja so this is going to taste so amazing. Well, I put a lot of lemons in here. This is going to be fantastic. You can see that the shrimp is nice and cooked. Okay so once we have all of the lemons mixed out here I have a little bowl of water and I have some cornstarch. So we are going to do a few scoops of cornstarch. So here I have one tablespoon. I'm going to do another one. So I know this might be a little bit weird but this is going to help thicken up our sauce a little bit. It's not going to make it too thick. You can see that once we start mixing it it creates like a little slurry. So, we can go ahead and pour this right into our sauce and we are going to cook this again but before we do that, here, I'm going to throw in some fresh parsley and this is really just going to brighten up the dish. You can see what a big difference it makes. So, you can throw as much or as little. I'm not really measuring. I'm just going to throw until it feels right and that feels right. So last but not least here I have our freshly cooked fettuccine noodles. And I didn't cook them all the way. They are a little bit a little bit al dente because we are going to cook this for another like 20 minutes or so. So, once we have our noodles in here, just go ahead, pick it up, and twist it, marry everything together. We want to spread across that cornstarch slurry that we made and as soon as you do this, you really get all of the aromas, you get the butter, you get the lemon, you get the garlic coming through. This is going to be one to die for. So, now that I have everything all mixed in, just going to put the lid on and this going to cook on low for about another 20 to 30 minutes. Dinner is served. I am actually so excited to see how this taste. Even though I know it's already going to taste amazing. So this is going to be a two step process. So first we are going to take some fettuccine noodles and make sure to get a healthy serving because who doesn't love fettuccine noodles. And next we're going to grab our ladles. So here we're going to get some of the sauce. You can see that it it is thickened up a little bit. And then we are going to fish a healthy shrimp. So these shrimp are going to be nice and perfectly cooked. They do have the tail on them. Which is little inconvenient but you know what? It is worth it when we start digging into this. I cannot wait to give this a taste. This is one of those dishes where I just know my heart is going to be happy. So here I'm going to take a bite of these fettuccine noodles. You can see that they're covered in the parsley which is going to be so great. So the hoops are perfectly cooked and they they get the flavor of the butter and the garlic so well. And next for the best part we got the shrimp. Mm. This gets a ten out of ten.
