🔸Rett syndrome is a rare genetic illness that affects the development of the brain. This condition causes a steady decline in motor and linguistic skills. Rett syndrome affects predominantly females. 🔸The majority of infants with Rett syndrome appear to develop normally throughout the first six months of life. These infants subsequently lose abilities such as the capacity to crawl, walk, talk, and use their hands.

Although intellectually and conversationally the doors have been unlocked, there are still so many things I struggle with. Even typing this speech has taken days to get this far and will take several days more to complete, typing literally one letter at a time with my right pointer finger.
