The Dark Hedges is a very popular tourist attraction on the Bregagh Road near the village of Stranocum. The small avenue of three hundred year old beech trees has even been used as a scene from the hit HBO’s series “Game of Thrones.” It even has its own ghost known locally as the “Grey Lady” who appears to pass by the trees at dusk.

This road has ancient beech trees that were planted over 240 years ago and form an incredible natural tunnel that looks like something out of a fairy tale.
