Architecture photographer Andrew Peilage has documented 50 buildings by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, capturing the less famous designs of a church topped with a blue-domed roof, a long red barn and a wooden windmill.

Fallingwater is Wright’s crowning achievement in organic architecture and the American Institute of Architects’ "best all-time work of American architecture.” Its owners, Edgar and Liliane Kaufmann, were a prominent Pittsburgh couple, reputed for their distinctive sense of style and taste.

This residential building was made with the objective to harmonize nature and man-made materials, making the residents feel connected to nature, especially while standing on a cantilevered section above the falling water. I'm posting this because it is named a UNESCO Heritage Site and was also labeled as "best all-time work of American architecture" by AIA.
