There are many acronyms now. When you say "it's getting too long," you're being a ridiculous exclusionist, and usually a real jerk, but as long as you keep an air of acceptance, there is no "right" acronym, as far as I am concerned. Just don't pull "lgb" or something on me. I say "LGBTQ+", because the "Q+" leaves room for people to identify with the broader community as they see fit, whoever they may be.
