Lily Jones, aka Lily Vanilli, is in my kitchen cooking cake – with bacon. Before you go 'eeew!', it is to be a light cinnamon and nutmeg sponge, fairy cake size. On top is a dollop of maple syrup buttercream, a pecan and a strip of bacon baked in maple syrup. Well my mouth is watering, anyway.
