Next academic year I will be moving from Year 3 into Year 4 which has involved moving all of my things upstairs to a new classroom. Word of the Week Display! This is presented on the left side of Mrs. Windle's fourth grade classroom. It is located alongside the I PICK and Reading Response Exit Slips. I will most definitely be implementing this in my future classroom, so that my students vocabulary can increase in both what they read and write.

You'll quickly learn that I love the Daily 5 for Literacy! Our 2nd grade team pioneered the Daily 5 last year and since then we are singing it's praises. Word of the Week I got this idea from the amazing Facebook GroupSchool Librarian's Workshop(Closed Group must request to join). My students don't have a lot of browsing time in the library so I opened the dictionary up to the page with the word.
