Hey yall! Friday is so close I can smell it....almost there. I think I can, I think I can... Do you know who these little characters are? If you don't know who they are, you are living in the dark ages, my friend. But if you are, in fact, living in the dark ages, then let me introduce you to Annie and her robot friend Moby. These are the awesome little characters from Brain Pop Jr., my most favorite online resource. We seriously watch a Brain Pop video 2-3 times a week...sometimes in a day…

SS5CG1 Explain how a citizen’s rights are protected under the U.S. Constitution. A. Explain the responsibilities of a citizen. My idea was to use this video to give students an overview of the material and then as a class we would take the review quiz after the video, and then a follow up writing journal activity would follow the video! This is a great video, and kids LOVE Brain Pops, so I think it would be a great idea for covering this standard.
