Gandalf the Grey portrayed by Sir Ian McKellen walking alongside Saruman the White portrayed by Christopher Lee. The Most Interting Man in the World, a true Tolkien Fan and the only Member of the Cast to have known J.R.R. Tolkien. Having him in the movie was truly an amazing feeling for Tolkien fans. Although he did not play Gandalf as once promised by Tolkien.
