Tony Oursler was born in 1957 in New York, where he lives and works. He has had solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York; PAC Milan; Kunsthaus Bregenz; Jeu de Paume, Paris; Musée d’Orsay, Paris; Whitney Museum, New York; and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, North Adams. He has participated in three Whitney Biennials, as well as the biennials of Istanbul, São Paulo, Sydney, Florence, and Lyon.
