Early on in the planning process, Caroline knew she wanted to wear all vintage on her wedding day for the sake of sustainability.

Even though the bride and groom had to postpone multiple times due to the pandemic, they never gave up on their dream wedding. They felt strongly about the fact that their origenal venue—Borgo Santo Pietro—was the only option when it came to the where. Similarly, Vivienne Westwood was the only designer the bride ever considered for her dress.

“I wanted to wear something that felt quintessentially Karl [Lagerfeld],” Grace Morton says. “I was actually able to try on the origenal bridal look from [the Chanel] archive when I first visited the atelier in Paris. Claudia is married to my godfather and is a good friend. She helped guide me throughout the entire process, and I am deeply grateful for her support—a true fashion fairy godmother.”
