Charming Antique 1890s prairie country calico dress. Khaki green cotton printed with red/yellow triangles and flowers. Bodice lined in brown cotton, skirt unlined. Wonderful full sleeves. Lots of fabric in the skirt. Dress shows age and various signs of wear. In my opinion this patina only adds to the charm of the piece. This would have been an everyday dress. There are areas of fade, staining and scattered small holes. Cuffs show staining and fade. Roughly patched front hole on skirt and other holes on side skirt. Strong fabric and dress is still wearable. Brown buttons feel like a shell material. Few smaller holes and marks scattered on bodice.
