The goals of IVS are:

• To provide a service to support geodetic, geophysical and astrometric research and operational activities.
• To interact with the community of users of VLBI products and to integrate VLBI into a global Earth observing system.
• To promote research and development activities in all aspects of the geodetic and astrometric VLBI technique.

IVS 2024 Elections (December 19)
The newly elected members at large for the period February 2025 to February 2027 are: Masafumi Ishigaki (GSI, Japan), Hana Krásná (TU Wien, Austria), and Fengchun Shu (SHAO, China).

December Newsletter (December 11)
The December issue of the IVS Newsletter was posted on the website. This issue features the new IVS Analysis Coordinator Benedikt Soja.

IVS 2024 Elections (November 29)
The IVS Election Committee is pleased to inform you of the results of the elections for the representative positions on the IVS Directing Board. The newly elected representatives for the period February 2025 to February 2029 are: Susana García Espada (Networks) and Matthias Schartner (Analysis).

IVS 2024 Elections (September 13)
The IVS Election Committee solicits nominations for two representative positions and three at-large positions on the IVS Directing Board. Nominations for the representative positions are due by 10 November 2024. The deadline for at-large nominations is 07 December 2024.
