I don’t claim to be an accent expert over here, but I’m at least closer than I was! 2️⃣ The roads are pretty narrow in the Highlands, sometimes just one lane. There are intentional spots to pull over in case someone is driving toward you. If the pull out is on the left, that’s for you! If it’s on the right, that’s for the car coming at you. 3️⃣ Most day hikes in Scotland will be referred to “walks.” Sometimes even “wee walks” and they might not be wee at all!
