DIY Dollar Tree Faux Birch Wood 🪵
I saw this ribbon at Dollar Tree, and thought it kind of resembled birch wood. Don’t think I hit the nail on the head with this one, but either way, this was a fun and very inexpensive way to add some faux logs to my Christmas scene! Here’s what you’ll need if you want to give this a try! • I only used one pool noodle, cut into three pieces of varying lengths (I didn’t measure any). One roll of ribbon was also enough to cover all three pieces of the pool noodle. • I used a generous amount of mod podge to adhere the ribbon to the pool noodle. • I applied another coat of mod podge after wrapping the entire pool noodle. • I used pieces of poster board cut to size with ribbon to cover the ends of the pool noodles. DIY Upcycled Lantern 💫
Recreate this lantern with an old pickle jar! Here's what I used: • 24 oz pickle jar (Wash empty jar with dawn dish soap and a little baking soda. Leave soaking overnight with hot water and dawn dish soap to remove vinegar smell) • Skewers- any kind would work • Jute rope from Dollar Tree • Fairy lights from Dollar Tree or any lights of choice That's it!
